My sweet friend,

Mother's Day intensifies so many emotions that are already there, just often lying deep or pushed down.

We celebrate the privilege of bringing a baby into this world, yet often at the same time we feel the weighty and hard emotions of mourning a baby that didn't make it into our arms or a sweet child who left way way too soon.

We remember our family isn't complete here on this earth, that part of us is in heaven. And while we remember the sweet time we had we ache for the years and the moments we will never have.

Momma, I pray that this Mother's Day you open your hands + surrender. Feel all of it and then hand it to the Lord, the one who already died for this pain.

Then momma, don't close those fists up in empty pain, ASK the Lord to fill them with his PEACE + JOY. The kind of emotions that doesn't make sense on a day like today. Receive it sister and encourage me to receive mine to.

Open Hands. Open Hearts. Together. We face today.

xo,

Gina
