When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hearsand delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17
he hears you
In the middle of the pain and the grief, it feels like you could be standing in the middle of a crowd screaming loudly and still not feel heard. I imagine that's mostly because no matter what room we're in and what we're shouting and who we're shouting to, they likely have not gone through the same tragedy in the same way. So often our feeling unheard is actually a result of feeling misunderstood and not fully known in our pain.
Because we know that God is with us in a present, intentional way and that because He came as a baby and lived here on earth amidst brokenness, He is able to identify with our pain. In fact, God the Father knows what it feels like to bury a Son. So when we cry out to God we can be assured in knowing that He not only hears but He understands. And He offers rescue from our grief and from our pain.
the promise
